The Blissful Revolution
I don't know if "blissful" was the right word to describe the show, but it certainly was interesting. It was just two days after the lights went out across most of northern New England. Despite frigid temperatures (in the low 20s) and many area residents still lacking electricity, the craft show did go on and it was an enjoyable day.
My husband came along to help me out, and many of our favorite musicians from Portland played live music throughout the day. The show took place in one of the old mill buildings by the river in Biddeford and the space was incredible.

Upcoming Shows – Holiday Arts & Crafts Bazaar!
This coming weekend, on Saturday, December 13th from 11-6, you can view and purchase my jewelry at the Blissful Revolution holiday arts & crafts bazaar in Biddeford, Maine! It's in a cool, old mill building and the show will feature more than 75 artists from the area as well as live music from some of my favorite Portland musicians. For more information about the show, click here.
Also, during the month of December you can purchase my jewelry at ellO Gallery in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire! They exclusively carry locally-handmade goods in a very cool environment. I am excited to have my creations displayed there. Be sure to check it out if you are in the area.

Success and Gratitude
Thanks to everyone who helped make my first show a big success! I did really well and sold lots of jewelry last weekend. I especially enjoyed meeting lots of new people and telling them all about my jewelry...can't wait to do it again soon!
A special thanks goes out to Michele of Ripple Design who traded necklaces with me! Her airstream pendants and holiday ornaments are really cool...check 'em out.
Thank you also to Patrick, Charlotte, Deb, Holly, Rocky, Maureen, Charlie and Pat for visiting and showing your support (and lending me tables and chairs!).

Welcome To The Loft!
Hi there...welcome to my new blog! The idea behind it is to share a behind-the-scenes glimpse into my loft (A.K.A. the jewelry studio of Lofted Designs).
I often find that I become more interested in places and objects when I learn about their origins. Discovering the history of a location or the way something is made can add a new layer of interest. This is the philosophy behind my blog.
I hope you will enjoy seeing my workspace and how the jewelry I create makes its way from a concept or a sketch to wearable art. Thanks for joining me in the loft. I welcome your feedback!
